Wouldn't it be great to come back to Manhattan for a weekend to enjoy a football game with your friends?  "Yeah, but the hotels are jam-packed, I get tired of waiting for an overpriced meal at the same chain restaurants I have back home and then the noisy people in the next room will keep you awake 1/2 the night!"

Consider the British Ranch for your next K-State Football Weekend.  Enjoy all the fun stuff, like the pre-game atmosphere of Aggieville, the tail-gating, the game itself and catching up with friends, old and new.  Then, get away to your own, quiet peaceful country retreat, conveniently located only 10 miles from KSU's Bill Snyder Family Stadium.  We are located only 1/2 mile off of I-70, so we're easy to find and it's easy to navigate into Manhattan.

The British Ranch is ideally suited for up to 3 couples.  Our 1870's stone house (see the Facilities page for more information) has 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other 2 with twin beds.  Tastefully & comfortably furnished with antiques, the house has a large, eat-in kitchen furnished with cooking, serving and eating utensils along with basic dry-goods.  In the freezer you'll find a selection of Downey Ranch beef (steaks, pot roasts and hamburger), available for purchase by the item.  Grill a steak on the back deck after the game and enjoy the peaceful solitude of the British Ranch.

Rates & Reservations - As you can imagine, lodging is tough to find during football season.  Please call (785-456-8160, 785-556-8160 mobile) or e-mail early for best availability.  The Rates & Reservations page has the most current calendar.  The Football Weekend package includes lodging for up to 6 people for Friday and Saturday nights with a Sunday check-out.  You provide your own game tickets.  Please note: we do NOT rent for parties!  Rates are shown below and payment is due at the time you make your reservation.  The home games for 2006 are shown in black below:  The rates work out to as low as $50/person/night (based on 6 guests), which is extremely reasonable for football season lodging.
