The 1870's stone
house will be the headquarters for your British Ranch getaway. It
appears the house was built in 3 phases: the main body of the house was
built first and comprised 3 levels with walk-out, main and top
levels. Next, the stone kitchen was added onto the walk-out level
shortly after the main house was built. It was redone at some point
with built in cabinetry. Finally, a frame add-on with a bathroom and
mudroom was built, most likely in the 1950's. The house has it's
original plaster, tongue-and-groove interior walls and painted wood
flooring (pine) and woodwork (most likely walnut). We've updated the
plumbing and wiring, added baseboard heat and A/C's and put in new
appliances. Other than that, we've left it much like you'd have
found it in the 1800's!
